Children’s Liturgy of the Word

When: Sunday mornings during the 11:00 a.m. Eucharist
Where: in the Yellow Door Room
Who: 3-6 year old children

Children’s Liturgy of the Word is a children’s prayer service modeled from the Book of Common Prayer. Children are guided in praying a collect, reflecting on the Sunday Lectionary reading, collecting an offering, exchanging the peace, and singing.

Children’s Liturgy is offered primarily for children who are too young to begin Atrium and those families who are not here during one of the Atrium sessions.

Children’s Liturgy includes a procession into church prior to Holy Communion.

Note: Children attending Level 1 Atrium at 10:00 will remain in the Atrium until time for the procession, if indicated by parent. Both groups (those in Liturgy and those in Atrium) will join together for the procession.

Childcare note: the Yellow Door room is open for childcare for children 3-6 years old from 8:30-12:00 each Sunday.
