Children’s Ministries

All Saints’ is blessed with lots of children, and the programs we offer for them reflect the importance we place on their care — physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Parents are always welcome to visit our nurseries and classrooms, and are also encouraged to participate as volunteers in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and Vacation Bible School.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a faith formation experience for children ages 3 years -6thgrade. It is based on the belief that young children can and do experience God. The atria, the rooms where the children meet are environments created and prepared to nurture children’s spirituality. This approach to the religious formation of children is rooted in the Holy Bible, the liturgy of the church, and the educational principles of Dr. Maria Montessori. Hands on materials are used to help children and adults reflect and wonder on the great mysteries of the Christian faith. Children must be three years of age by the first day of Catechesis to begin.

How to get involved:

* Become trained as a catechist & serve in the Atrium
* Become an Atrium Hall Parent
